Q Qroodles

Cookie Policy

Effective September 16, 2026 · Version 5

This Policy explains how Qroodles LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on qroodles.com, app.qroodles.com, and business.qroodles.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What We Use

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related technologies that are not cookies: browser local storage, software development kits in our mobile application, and mobile advertising identifiers provided by your device. This Policy covers all of them.

2. Categories

Complete this table with the actual cookies your site sets. Open your browser developer tools, list every cookie, and fill in the rows before publishing.

Category

What it does · examples · duration

Strictly necessary

Authentication, session management, security, CSRF protection, load balancing. The Service cannot function without these, and they are not subject to consent. Examples: qroodles_session (expires after 2 hours of inactivity) and XSRF-TOKEN (CSRF protection, cleared when you close your browser).

Functional

Remembers language, location preference, and your saved-deals list. Examples: qroodles_session (2 hours), plus your saved-deals list stored on your device.

Analytics

Tells us which pages and offers are used, so we can improve the Service. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers on our website.

Advertising

We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to set them on our website. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, tag managers, or social media tracking scripts.

Because of this, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, which the California Consumer Privacy Act calls "sharing." We also do not sell personal information.

Advertising on Qroodleplayer screens is selected by where the screen is and what time it is, not by tracking you across other websites or apps. Inside the Qroodles app we may use your own activity with us, such as offers you have saved, to decide which offers to show you first. That is our own use of our own data and is not shared with advertisers.

3. Your Choices

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the Service.

  • Mobile advertising identifier: reset or limit it in your device settings.

  • Opt-out preference signals: we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

  • Do Not Track: browser Do Not Track signals are not standardized; we do not respond to them, and we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Consent

The Service is offered in the United States only, so this Policy follows United States practice: we tell you what we use and you can control it through your browser. We do not show a consent banner, because the only cookies we set are the ones the Service cannot run without, and we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all. If we begin offering the Service in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we will add a consent mechanism before doing so.

5. Changes and Contact

We will update this Policy as our use of these technologies changes.
